At Overflow, we don’t just have groups — we are a church of groups. Our
heart is to see every person engaged in smaller, intentional communities
where discipleship happens naturally. These groups function as
microchurches that gather during the week and unite on Sundays to
celebrate what God is doing.
A disciple is simply someone committed to the ways, words, and works of
Jesus. In our groups, we grow together by being with Jesus, becoming
like Him, and doing what He did. To support this, Overflow follows a 4x2
rhythm—four months of Community Groups and two months of Learning
Groups—creating space to grow both relationally and spiritually.
Community Groups meet in homes across the region for four-month
intervals in the spring and fall. Groups share a meal and gather every
other week in settings of 8–10 adults, emphasizing communal practices
like prayer and communion while studying the Word together.
Learning Groups meet at our church campus for two months at a time in
summer and winter. Each study is Overflow member-led and teaches on
Biblical principles we can walk out in daily life. Past groups include a
men’s accountability group, how to steward finances, and a look at
disciplines of the early Church.
Overflow’s Community Groups and Learning Groups run in
opposite seasons, and there will always be something for you
to be a part of!
Our Becoming discipleship group runs in four sessions year
round and is a great way to start your journey into Overflow
Groups. Becoming is a taste of both community and learning
as we share a meal together and unpack ten spiritual
disciplines that help us become more like Jesus.
